Okay, so it’s not a long story, but it’s a true story.

Since 1999, Leelanau Sports has focused on news, scores and information about our Leelanau County and Michigan sports teams and athletes. After many name changes and some long ones (Northern Michigan Detroit Sports Blog for example), we’ve decided on sportspig.com.  View some past examples at The Wayback Machine and try to keep the laughing to a minimum.

This is a great place to follow Leelanau & Michigan Sports online. With that being said, I do this in my free time (like alot of us, I don’t have very much) and can only spend a few minutes a week updating. This is a nice segue into…
