I don't think hiring Dantonio over Kelly was exactly a wise decision. Kelly is a proven winner on all levels. He took CMU back to levels they hadn't seen in many years. Now he took over a team built by Dantonio, and turned them into a winner. MSU picked the wrong guy. As a Spartan fan, you should just hope he can live up to what could have been. Yes, he appears to have had the game pass him by, but maybe he just didn't have the team this year. Putting the Rose Bowl aside, last year the team was great. Almost as great as the 1997 team. I think if it wasn't for the 5 months of time the Big Ten takes off before the bowl games, I think Michigan could have been more competitive in the Rose Bowl. Many times. Carr will be missed.
