  1. Big Al Said,

I love how the Tigers are currently playing. Despite the 2 game losing streak. For them to be true contenders though, they need to add a potent left handed bat, and possibly another arm. I’m worried about Verlander’s workload and the fact that they are overloaded with right handed hitting, with an relatively low OBP. But those are fixable problems via trade.

Still, .500 ball from here on out has them winning 90 some games. That means a pennant race… W00t!

Right on Big Al, I think alot is fixable. I am also worried about Verlander, but I think Leyland is smart enough to watch it closely.

I also can’t wait to see how Roman Colon does tonight! I hope he can hold down the fort until Maroth returns…

  3. Ian C. Said,

Unfortunately, the Yankees couldn’t wait to see Roman Colon either. Yeesh.

That was a tough loss last night, after coming back to tie the game.

  4. Leelanau Sports Guy Said,

That was tough after the way they battled back. This is a HUGE game today! If the Tigers can avoid a sweep and stop the losing streak they can regain some momentum…

  5. Leelanau Sports Guy Said,

Looks like maybe the Big Bad Yankess are still a very dangerous team!
