Yeah, that’s right, the Tigers have the best road record in the majors

I know I had to re-read it myself. The Tigers are now 16-7 on the road and own the second best record in the majors (unfortunately the White Sox have the best) at 24-13. Mike Maroth pitched another solid game and the Tigers are getting key hits when they need them, this time from Craig Monroe.
Just found out I get to make my first trip to Comerica this year on June 25th to see Albert Pujols and the Cardinals come to town! Will be sitting behind the visitors dugout, I can’t wait!

Hopefully if they continue to have a better road record than home Illitch will make more modifications to the still too large outfield and bring in center and left to a more realistic dimension. Just wishful thinking of course!
That sucks about the Cards being in town that weekend, that is the first weekend of my week and a half escape to the great outdoors! Later.
