Lions resign Bryson for three years
Not to be shown up by the Wings blockbuster trade announcement, ESPN has announced that the Lions have signed Shawn Bryson to a three year contract.
To quote the Detroit Insider, “Oh Good!”
My View: I have always liked Bryson, he knows his role and does it well. He is a quality backup that can play FB or RB.

I can live with the Lions resigning Bryson, just don’t put him in on every passing down… Under Mooch, it was obvious to the defense that a screen or play action pass was coming whenever Bryson entered the game.
Hopefully the new regime will use Bryson’s talents a tad more judiciously…

I like him, dont want to cut him and have a whole to fill. He is quality that we can live with and by keeping him we can focus on other needs!
