Usually I try to stay on topic of Detroit sports, but this story is just way too big!

Barry Bonds might be in serious trouble. A book coming out later this month called Game of Shadows follows Bonds and his supposed steroid path since 1998. I don’t know what’s true or not, but they seem to have alot of evidence.

My View: The Pittsburgh Pirates are my second favorite team and I was a huge fan of Barry Bonds when he played there and I kept following him once he went to San Francisco. At this point it’s hard to say what he’s done or hasn’t and how much anyone is ever going to know.

It seems like he has had to have done something wrong giving who he’s been associated with and ALL of the rumors.

For the sake of baseball I hope he hasn’t, but the evidence by the book’s authors seems to be pretty detailed. One thing I think this does is make this the last season Bonds will play. He will settle for passing Babe and being #2 all-time.
