Sorry Donnie Henderson, it’s a Mike Martz World

(Update 2/2/2006): Looks like Martz is coming and is negotiating a multi-year contract and bringing three assistants with him from the Rams. Stay tuned.

Poor Donnie Henderson, the Lions new defensive coordinator isn’t getting much press. Mike Martz is grabbing all of the Lions media attention, which giving Martz credentials should be expected.

I am excited about the fact that Martz is rumored to be bringing Wilbert Montgomery as a successor. Martz’s 1-year contract made me nervous, but obviously they were going to have someone in place to continue what he is building.
