Here’s an article with some of the latest quotes about Rod Marinelli from former bosses, players and fellow coaches. Lots of positive stuff and the concensus is that the Lions got a great coach who is the perfect fit for them. I hope everyone is right!

I sure hope your gut feeling is right. If the Lions actually won a championship, I don’t know what I’d do. Probably break down in tears… Or get rip snorting drunk… Maybe both!
The more I read about Marinelli, the more I’m warming to him. But I reserve the right to biatch and moan if the his staff hires are underwhelming.

Big Al. I have an uncle named Big Al. Seriously.
The staff is a big factor for sure. Let’s hope he can find an OC who can fix this stumbling, bumbling offense.
I have tried to figure out what I would do if the Lions ever did win. I would definitely drive down to the Motor City and join in the party. Hell if they ever make the Super Bowl I will take out loan to make that trip!
