Millen starts to make his next move

The rumors are swirling and Matt Millen is ready to start the process of hiring the next coach of the Lions. The first batch of interviews are set with current interim coach Dick Jauron, Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon, and San Francisco 49ers linebackers coach Mike Singletary. Millen talked to the media for the first time since firing Steve Mariucci and you can read some of his comments below.

He better take his time, which it seems like he finally is. I just hope he doesn’t do the impulse thing, which he hints he may, if someone just blows him away. Take your time and really think this through man, don’t you realize that there will not be another chance for you? Damn, just don’t go for the first attractive coach that comes through your door, work the room, play the field, just don’t give it up on the first date brother! Later.
