Leland falls in quarters of Elite Tourney

The Lady Comets advanced to the quarterfinals of the Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central Elite Tournament and finished the tournament with a 3-2 record. Leland was the only Class C or D school at the tourney. Leland defeated Grandville (25-16, 25-8) and Forest Hills Central (25-17, 25-20), lost to East Kentwood (25-22, 25-20), and beat Jenison (25-19, 25-22), before falling to Fruitport ( 25-20, 25-19).
