Catchy title, huh?
I have been so busy lately, I haven’t had a chance to really pay attention to anything in the sports world, but here’s some of my recent thoughts.
The Heisman - I thought Vince Young should have won it, but I wasn’t surprised it went to Bush. He is a game changer and very explosive. He will be lights out in the NFL.
The Lions - They can’t get any worse, at least I hope they can’t. They should start DanO, and see what he can do, obviously the Garcia experiment is a train wreck.
The Pistons - Best record in the NBA, and playing great basketball. If they lock up home court this year, they will definitely be bringing the title back to Motown.
That’s all I have time for, but I do like the Tigers signings, and think both players will really help in the clubhouse and on the mound. They will provide experience to the young arms. Spring training can’t get here fast enough!

Yes, I know the busy feeling quite well myself… the holiday season plus finals at EMU, as well as figuring out next semester! Oh yeah, and I still have one of those “job” things too!
I have not been a big fan of the Heisman for years now, too often I feel it goes to the “popular” player and not the most deserving player. I agree with you on Young, take him away and what was Texas? Not in the National Championship that’s for sure. But USC still had Leinart and had another great tailback in White.
The Lions are what they are - hopeless. At least it looks like my boy Brady should be in the playoffs again so there is some reason to watch football for awhile still. Unfortunately with injuries and such something tells me Brady will finally lose his first career playoff game this season.
The Pistons are just amazing, that is all I have to say. The fact that they are 1/3 of the way done with their road games already this season (obviously meaning they have more home games left than road ones!) really gets me excited and optimistic. Like I said in my preview the #1 seed is going to come out of the Central so they really need to stick to it.
Yes spring training needs to get here soon, but that is still a couple months away. All signs point to the Tigers staying put, but deep down something tells me Dave still has one move left up his sleeve.
Later.
