Pistons, Brown part ways; Flip next coach?
I was browsing all the articles last night and this morning on this and still feel a bit sad. Larry Brown was a good coach, brought the NBA Title back to Detroit, and brought the team within one game of repeating. He taught the Pistons how to play the right way and brought the franchise back to respectability in the eyes of the NBA and it’s fans.
I can’t help but think this is exactly the way Brown wanted it to go down. The Pistons were the ones who had to make the tough decisions and Brown still can coach next season, if he wishes. He already has an interview with the Knicks scheduled as early as tomorrow.
Good Luck Larry, you will be missed, but all the distractions that come with you won’t be.
Here’s a great article by Drew Sharp of the Freep.

Larry Brown going leaving could be good for Amir Johnson not Darko since LB dont like playing rookies/young guys. Amir Johnson played better in the summer league out in vegas than Darko.

Hey Antoine, I checked out your sites, great job. I will add links to them.
I agree 1000% with you about Johnson. I posted something the other day along the same lines. I think he is going to be a superstar down the line and I agree that the Pistons got a huge steal this late in the draft.
He has tons of potential and he’s very athletic, something the Pistons as good as they are, could use.
