Former Tigers come to Cheboygan to teach baseball

Cheboygan - On Saturday, two former pitchers from the Detroit Tigers will come to Cheboygan to teach the locals the fundamentals about baseball and softball.
Dave Rozema and Barbaro Garbey have donated their time to help boys and girls aged 6-17 to improve their baseball playing abilities.
Garbey will being assisting players with their swing and form while Rozema puts attention to pitching and the different styles of pitching including curve balls, fast balls and the basics of pitching.
Event coordinator Dom Juillet said that he is expecting 130 kids to 150 kids to show up for this event. Last year the event drew in 115 children.
