The Pistons, for the first time since November, are back in Steve Kerr’s Top 5 NBA power rankings. I say, it’s about time. Here’s what he said about the Pistons.
4. Detroit Pistons (35-19) - Finally, the Pistons look like themselves. They’ve won 12 of 13 and they’ve done it in Detroit fashion. They’re holding opponents to 88 points a game and locking teams up in the fourth quarter. The world champs are making their move.
RazorGator has your Hard to Get sports tickets in Detroit and Nationwide. See the Detroit Tigers in action against the Yankees and Red Sox with Baseball tickets. Cheer on the Detroit Pistons and other NBA teams than get your NBA Finals tickets. Be at the Final Four, SEC Tournament, and don't miss any NCAA Tournaments

Something that caught my attention was their offensive game. They’ve been scoring a lot of points in these wins. I don’t buy this Miami is better cuz we don’t have Elden or the Spurs are better talk anymore. Pistons are THE team to beat.

At least ESPN has them in the #1 spot on their web site power rankings. I am about to post about an Elden Campbell rumor I heard about, kind of interesting.
I do think they need another big, make no mistake about it. If Dale Davis wants to go to a non-contender (Indiana) to get more minutes instead of coming to the team to beat in the east (Detroit) then so be it. Don Reid would be good enough. All they really need is 15 minutes and six fouls from a big man. The nice thing about Elden was that he could still score and he knew Shaq. But you can get the fouls and minutes from anyone - remember, Shaq is still going to get his. This is really not to stop him, you can’t, it is just to keep Ben and ‘Sheed out of foul trouble. Like I said yesterday, whatever happens, the road to the finals still goes thru three championship drive, auburn hills, michigan. Later.
P.S. - I frequent T.C. all the time in the summer. Next time, if you are serious, I would be honored to meet the sports pig in person and chat it up.

My boss was yelling over my shoulder about the Pistons beign #1 in the ESPN power rankings. He is a huge Piston fan.
I will check out your Elden story, but you are right, they just need another body. Reid, Davis, Campbell, it doesn’t matter, except that Campbell is the best all-around player out of the bunch.
I am SERIOUS about meeting the next time you are in TC. Just drop me a line, I am sure we can find a spot to sit somewhere with lots of big screens and good food! At least I hope, TC isn’t the best for really good sportsbars.

I just finished posting about it, and some other garbage as well.
I usually make about four to five trips up there during the summer. My grandparents built a house up there twenty years ago, closer to Kalkaska, but obviously T.C. is a place to frequent when you are up there. I have been going there for the past twenty some years, I grew up spending my summers at the cabin and in T.C.
I will remember your invite and hope to take you up on it come the summer. Later!

If it is something that is necessary for the betterment of the Detroit Sports Blog scene I guess we all should make the supreme sacrafice and hold a summer summit in T.C.

I love it. We could have the summer summit in TC and the winter in Motown. I will bring the Faygo.
