My Detroit Insider ran into Red Wings coach Dave Lewis on Saturday and talked for ac couple of minutes about the Lockout/Cancellation of the season.
Lewis told him, “don’t plan on any season.”
Which brings me to a thought. Who are some of the athletes/celebrities you have ran into and had a short conversation with?

I have never run into any national celebs, but I did chat it up with Carmen Harlen from channel 4. She was at the Ann Arbor Art Festival last summer and I literally bumped into her as I turned a corner. It was a nice two minute talk, didn’t ask for an autograph, just treated he like anyone else I ran into. She is a nice down to earth lady.
Well, I returned to blogging today, did you all miss me? Later.

We always miss you Sports Dude! The only national celeb I have ever ran into was Clancy Brown when I worked at a baseball card/sports memorabilia store. I remember him saying he loved the fact that there was a Starship Troopers action figure of him.
As far as sports, it was probably Chipper Jones Grandparents, after a Reds/Braves game in Cincinnati. That was a neat conversation.
