The player I always think of when it comes to this is Cal Ripken. I know he was great, but the last few years were all about the streak. Their defense was already hurt by the loss of Shazor and Jackson. It is sad that he has to stop for health reasons, but at least he is smart enough to know to "walk away" while he still can!
