Nice article on Chet Lemon in new Baseball Digest
Last night I was flipping through my Baseball Digest and found a nice article on former Tigers centerfielder Chet Lemon. It was a very good article that talked about how his career began and his move from the White Sox to the Tigers. If you get a chance check it out.

San Antonio — Big Brother is back.
The Pistons have Ben Wallace in their lineup again, and it sounds like music to them.
While reporters interviewed Wallace after Thursday’s practice at the SBC Center, Chauncey Billups strolled by and sang: “Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.”
During practice, Wallace blocked a Darko Milicic shot and told him to go stronger to the basket the next time.
At another point, the second unit was getting the best of the starters before Wallace hit a shot in the lane.

Ann Arbor — In a grand old barn in Ann Arbor, in front of fans who paid 10 bucks to get in, Steve Yzerman finally played another hockey game.
Thursday night was all about fun and charity. But this winter is all about business and millionaires. And if business swallows this NHL season, it might gulp down the rest of Yzerman’s career.
Farewell, Captain?
“I don’t know,” Yzerman said between periods at Yost Ice Arena. “I can just sit back and wait, but I’d say, in all probability, that I don’t know if I’m looking to play beyond this year.”
