What I am thinking…

stop the jokes please.

I didn’t really see any super interesting news on the Detroit Sports news front so this is what you get, mindless ramblings of one Leelanau Sports Guy.

I think John Navarre will have a decent showing in his first NFL game. It helps that it’s against the Lions, and not one of the leagues top defenses. I don’t know if he will carry on in the Tom Brady or Todd Collins tradition yet, but he could be decent. He has a big arm, but obviously not much mobility. We will see.

I think Illinois will be very difficult to beat in the Big Ten Men’s hoops race. I watched a little of the first half last night in their blowout win over #1 Wake Forest and all I can say is WOW, they are fast. The Illini backcourt will be the best in the nation and give the rest of the Big Ten fits.

I think that the Pistons will go on a winning streak now that Ben Wallace is back. He’s the heart and soul of this team as well as their most outspoken leader. Of course having Larry Brown back won’t hurt either.

I think Notre Dame made a big mistake in firing Ty Willingham. He was still working on bringing in his types of players and should have been allowed to coach through at least 1 full recruiting class. If he ends up at Washington, the Huskies should count their blessings and send a big thanks to the Irish.

I think that The Incredibles was a great movie! I loved it. Can’t get enough of the Coach.

That’s more than enough thinking out of me at any one time.
