Tigers face Yankees in 3 spring games

The Tigers will play 17 spring training games in Lakeland, Fla., against major league opponents, the team announced Tuesday. Three games will be against the New York Yankees.
The exhibition schedule kicks off with a game against Florida Southern College at 1:05 p.m. March 2 at Joker Marchant Stadium. The first game against a major league team is March 3 at Clearwater, Fla., against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Tigers and Phillies play the next day in Lakeland.
Exhibition season-ticket packages can be ordered by mail by writing: Detroit Tigers, attn: Ticket Office, 2125 N. Lake Ave., Lakeland, Fla., 33805, or at the Joker Marchant Stadium ticket office.
Individual tickets will go on sale Jan. 8 and can be ordered at www.detroittigers.com, the Joker Marchant ticket office or through Ticketmaster.
Ticket prices remain $16 for field box seats, $15 for regular box seats, $13 for reserved seats, $13 for wheelchair-accessible seats, $12 for leftfield reserve seats, $9 for general admission and $7 for berm seating.
